Davis 3120 Review: Davis Instruments Windex 10 Suspension Bearing. Davis Windex is pretty much the universal wind indicator you see on everybodys boat because they are good. They are sensitive easy to read (in daylight) and durable as long as the mast is up. On the other hand they are incredibly easy to break when the mast is down. The size is right for masts heights to about 30'-35'. Taller masts you may want the next size up.
