Samsung LN-37A550 Review: Samsung LN37A550 37-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV. I purchased the LN37A550 after reading a reviews for several LCD HDTVs and comparing them side-by-side, to the extent possible, in retail shops. I narrowed down my choices to Samsung and Sony; as far as I could tell from reviews and published specs, the sets were comparable. However, Sony was higher priced. I like the deep blacks and color saturation of the Samsung set.
